Craftsman 109 lathe
|
Quite a variety of different subversions exists. The one we have seen had a Morse #0 tailstock, more or less. It's a reduced length MT0 which is not that uncommon. However, they did cut the MT0 off at the large diameter end. That's rather odd and standard MT0 accessories don't fit. So, we made some "Craftsman Taper" (Tailstock accessories) that did fit. We have been told that Dunlup 109 and Craftsman 109 would be identical. Some Craftsman lathes were modified for a standard ANSI tailstock - check your lathe.

Other lathes which have the same kind of Morse 0 taper include Atlas, Logan, Sherline, South Bend, Simat (UK model?), etc. lathes. Exact sizes may be different. If you have a vintage lathe measure the large end diameter of your taper; don't purchase randomly tools. [ contact ] |
